We Are Here LLC was founded from a family’s commitment to create meaningful opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Inspired by the experience of helping my nephew, Randy, and others like him, the vision for We Are Here LLC grew out of a desire to provide not only dependable transportation but also enriching day programs that promote growth, connection, and inclusion.

Our organization serves adults with disabilities, offering daily transportation to and from programs and organizing community outings twice a week. These activities encourage social engagement, independence, and the development of life skills. Each outing is designed to help participants explore new environments, build confidence, and enjoy experiences that reflect the joy of community involvement.

Established during the challenges of the pandemic, We Are Here LLC began humbly but with a clear mission—to be a supportive and reliable resource for families who want more for their loved ones. Our team remains dedicated to ensuring every individual we serve is treated with respect, compassion, and understanding.

We Are Here was founded by a aunt whose nephew was born with ALS. Today we serve men and women with developmental challenges through semi-independent driven task. We have computer rooms, sensory room, relaxations rooms that provide comfort. 

School drivers hold a vital responsibility—the safety and well-being of every student they transport. Their role extends beyond driving; it includes maintaining vigilance, responding calmly during emergencies, and ensuring each student reaches their destination safely and on time. Every driver is trained to handle situations with confidence, care, and professionalism.

Special Education Transportation is provided as a related service through a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Services are delivered in a manner that supports each student’s safety and independence in the least restrictive environment. The IEP team determines specific transportation needs and goals that align with the student’s abilities.

Students receiving Curbside Service must be met at the vehicle by a parent or approved designee to ensure their safety. Depending on the student’s level of independence, the IEP team may recommend Transitional or Centralized Transportation Services to promote growth and self-reliance while maintaining safety at all times.

We Are Here LLC maintains specific guidelines for schools regarding the transportation of temporarily displaced students. In certain cases, due to the student’s distance from school or unique location, a regular school bus route may not be available. When this occurs, We Are Here LLC and Inside Purpose collaborate to ensure that students still receive safe and reliable transportation assistance tailored to their individual circumstances.

Our service extends especially to students with special needs who require individualized transportation support. This includes those who must travel alone or in small groups for safety, comfort, or medical reasons, as well as students who do not reside near an existing bus route. We Are Here LLC remains committed to working closely with schools, families, and districts to make certain that every eligible student has consistent access to educational opportunities, regardless of location or transportation barriers.

At We Are Here LLC, our mission is simple—Make Every Day Count. We provide safe, reliable daily sedan and van transportation with professional drivers and well-maintained vehicles. Our services complement existing school and agency routes, offering flexible solutions for route shortages, unplanned changes, or staffing gaps.

We serve both general education and special needs students, ensuring comfort, consistency, and care on every trip. Safety and communication are central to our approach, supported by trained drivers who understand individual needs.

Beyond transportation, we focus on personal care, social skills, and positive behavior, fostering independence and confidence. When existing services fall short, We Are Here LLC is ready to step in—bringing commitment, compassion, and reliable daily service to every ride.
